Former 'Heart Josh Walker Makes MLB Debut

2017 Worcester Braveheart Left-Handed Pitcher Josh Walker got called up to the New York Mets Major Leaugue roster on Tuesday, May 16th. The tall lefty made his debut out of the bullpen the same night, pitching the 7th inning of the Mets 8-5 loss against the Tampa Bay Rays going one inning, allowing 0 runs and 0 hits. 

Walker was called up to Triple-A Syracuse in 2021 before missing the entire 2022 season due to injury. He returned to Syracuse in 2023, posting a 0.68 ERA in 9 games before getting the call to the Majors.
