The Worcester Bravehearts have announced today that their June 7th game against the Nashua Silver Knights is officially sold out. This officially marks the earliest the Bravehearts have been able to announce a sellout in their 10 year history.
Part of their "You-Choose-The-Rules" series, the June 7th matchup against the Nashua Silver Knights will feature a new rule every inning. These rules will be made up of rules submitted by elementary students in the Central Massachusetts area. This will mark the second year that the team will host "You-Choose-The-Rules" games, and now the second year they will play in front of a sold out crowd.
"We've always had success with our Baseball in Education Days," said General Manager Dave Peterson. "Adding the You-Choose-The-Rules element really added to these games. It's not just a field trip to a baseball game. It's a chance to particpate in the action. A chance to take home autographs, pie a player in the face, or even play IN the game for an inning. We firmly believe the Bravehearts baseball experience is the best baseball experience in Worcester." Students can submit their rule suggestions here: https://bit.ly/WBBIEDAYS
