Bravehearts Silenced by Blues

Worcester - The Worcester Bravehearts fell to the Blues 3-0 on Wednesday night.

Jeremy Adams got the start and credited for the loss for Worcester. The righty out of St. Petersburg went six innings, giving up three hits, two walks with four strikeouts. On the other side for Bristol, it was Mark Faello who got the win, going seven scoreless innings allowing only three hits with two walks and five strikeouts.

Bristol got off to an early lead in the top of the second inning. Sam Loda led off the inning with a single followed by a JT Mounce walk. Anthony DOnofrio then doubled home both runners to give the Blues a 2-0 lead.

The Blues added on to their lead on the eighth inning. After Eric Lopes took over, both DOnofrio and Zeke Diamond were hit by pitches, and a passed ball by Craig Corliss allowed DOnofrio to score.

Worcester returns home on Friday to take on the Brockton Rox on a Fireworks Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
